Sydney prep, new socks reveal & Melb Mara update

Here's something crazy.

Usually between 15-20k runners read this newsletter every single week.

Isn't that wild.

That's enough people to fill a boutique stadium, or in comparison, about half the field for the Sydney Marathon next weekend.

It's all guns blazing for Sydney, as our final preparation gets underway for the expo.

It's going to be one big wild, exciting, fun & exhausting week. A monumental occasion in the Australian running scene.

If you're running, good luck. Enjoy every second of it.

DOUBLE-DOWN ON MELBOURNE

I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that we got into Melbourne Marathon again for an activation (woo!). But we missed out on the bigger space that we wanted.

BUT, good things come to those who wait.

An opportunity came up to double our space from last year, and I thought about it for three seconds, and then accepted the opportunity.

It will be our first activation of this size, and I can't wait to hit our home town marathon once again in seven weeks time.

We've got some fun stuff planned.

GOING GLOBAL?

I posted a snapshot on my personal Instagram about how we are making some moves beyond Australia.

We are the biggest Australian-owned running vest brand.

Mind you, it is not a large pool of contenders.

As you know, the majority of running vest companies are international conglomerates.

So we are extremely proud to have built an Australian-owned brand in our backyard, supporting community and grassroots events, and being a part of what is an incredible running community.

And that will never change.

But in the last year or so we've started getting much more interest from international runners.

Aside from Australia, New Zealand is by far our second biggest customer base (kia ora to our Kiwi friends 👋).

But we are also gaining much more traction in the US, and a lot in Asia.

It's really exciting for us, to be able to spread our wings a little bit and welcome international customers to our little running community that we've built.
